Digital watermarking strategies have been proposed to protect copyrights of digital contents. As they are mainly focused only on natural images, quality of images may be affected severely if they are directly applied to animation images. In addition, these have more chances to suffer from clipping attacks compared to natural images. We had been proposed a cutting-tolerant watermarking methods for CG/animation images and experimental implementation has been completed. Preliminary evaluations are underway. This paper outlines proposed watermarking strategy and describes partitioning algorithm and their problems at present stage. Related work is also introduced.
